Just wanted to say hello to everyone!! My name is Jerry Reinhardt and my wife Deb and I have just gotten certified and are planning a trip for October!! We were in Cozumel last January, and did a lot of snorkeling and decided that it would be a lot more fun down on the bottom, rather than just cruising the top!!
I have a question--is there much good diving along the Mayan Riviera or Cancun?? A friend of mine said that we should stick to Cozumel. Any suggestions would be appreciated!! Thanks!!!

Paul is an excellent instructor and divemaster. Thanks to him, my husband and I had a wonderful experience learning how to scuba dive. Even our friends who were with us were impressed with him. I have to warn you he is a hilarious and mischievous guy!! I will never forgive him for an incident. While scuba diving, he gestured to me that I touch a sea cucumber (I didn't know what it was at that time and thought it was some kind of rock or reef). I touched it, and all of a sudden the sea cucumber disappeared. I was so scared! I hit Paul on his arm and scolded him. I think he had a good laugh over that, right Paul? LOL

I would strongly recommend that you forget Cozumel and go diving with Paul! You won't regret it.

Guys I strongly agree. Paul is a wonderful divemaster and always makes you feel right at home whether you are a novice or expert. I can't think of anyone who would give more personal attention and care than Paul. Forget Cozumel, and dive with Paul and his crew, you won't regret it.
